Who we are
The story of SHKALLA SH began when the founder’s grandfather received an olive oil mill as a wedding gift from the family of his bride, who were olive oil producers. From this humble beginning in 1945, the family’s passion for olive oil blossomed into a thriving business. Despite private businesses being banned during Albania’s socialist period from 1945 to 1990, the family’s commitment to olive oil production remained strong.
After the fall of the socialist system, the SHKALLA family revived their olive oil business. In 1996, SHKALLA SH was officially founded in Lundra/Tirana, quickly becoming one of the leading suppliers in the Albanian market.
